The food is amazing and the price is unbelievable, the chicken so good it’ll make you want to smack yo mama! Really good I’ll be back again.

Food has always been good whenever I had it. It’s the consistency for me and it’s always affordable! Thank you

Y’all believe the hype, their food is absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I went around lunch time and it was a line & wait. When we received our food, EVERYTHING was fresh & hot, Mac and cheese was on point, yams were flavored well, and the fried chicken & fish were soooo good (seasoned perfectly)! The quality for the price is amazing, stop by and get y’all a 6 PLATTER ASAP!

* First of all I'm going back tomorrow /Sunday * Yes I got their 5 deal & ordered ,Yams, Greens.after tax 5.00. [Pepsi is 1] Hospitality was , just straight up genuine people & That's so refreshing. •To me The restaurant had a ' Moms Kitchen, Family vibe' (that's a ) I had to wait 7mins. Which to me is a / Waiting means it is being Cooked to Order!. NT! Sitting out all day, drying up, losing moisture & Flavor]] *LAVISH* bc of who they are, The company they keep, & Especially of their food they prepare & Provide, . ----- this whole experience is only 5 dollars.----. •(At almost any other spots 5 isn't even ONLY a /)

The food was delicious!!! My husband did advise that he was told the wait would be 15 min and it turned into 30-45 min. That’s the ONLY reason I took a Star. Mista also reports that the ambiance was pleasant (Christmas music) and the staff were friendly. The greens had an unusual sweet taste that was divine. The Mac was experienced and the fish…… I started to go in with my hot sauce but paused to taste the fish first. Baybeeeeee it was soooo good, I almost didn’t want to use hot sauce at all. Nothing needed seasoning and nothing was overdone. Portions were adequate for 6 platter (many of us need to cut back anyway but I digress…. It gave me joy to have found this gem. My feedback would be bake that Mac in the morning (so it’s fresh) and cook enough greens so that dropping fish, chicken or shrimp won’t take too long. Speed up the service and kill the game. God’s speed to you. Go support US mane…… ***Update…. I got to visit in person today and it was a whole vibe…. Lauren Hill then Tyrese playing. I did not wait longer than that. Sista at the counter beautiful and pleasant Owner right there too I got to meet him. Keep doing yall thang! You’ve got a supporter in me.

Food is really good and good without even considering the price. 6 platters could be food without flavoring. No! They are making delicious 6 platters. With the right amount of food to not be a glutton.

Some of the best chicken and fish I ever had and the Mac and the yams was poppin I would highly recommend they put they SOUL in this soul food

I was looking for a hidden gem and thanks to JL, I found it. The ladies were so nice and it felt like aunties making homemade food. I tried everything except the salmon (sold out) and appreciated every bite. If I had to choose, the star for me was the swaiiiii. I can’t choose a side bc they were all so good and necessary A must if you’re going to Philly. Thank you for the homemade soul food and that playlist they revitalized my spirit and brought back some goood memories.
